Initial Biomechanical Consultation
The presenting injury/symptom will be assessed upon relevant medical history, conditions, occupational hazards and physical activities. Once a thorough medical screening has been conducted, the particular condition will be assessed and diagnosed
Conservative treatment for acute injuries will begin immediately. If further investigation is warranted, the patient will be referred for an X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI etc.
If a chronic condition or injury is present relating to the patients biomechanical function, the patient will be advised to return for a biomechanical examination and gait analysis.
Walking and running will be assessed with video analysis giving us the most accurate information to evaluate the patients upper body functions through to their lower limbs.
After a comprehensive gait analysis and consultation, a treatment plan will be prescribed.
