Jay Lewis
Principal Podiatrist
Jay gained an interest in Podiatric medicine while playing AFL for the Sydney Swans. Being in an elite level environment provided a great level of insight and interest into sports biomechanics, lower limb injuries and performance enhancement.
After completing a bachelor of Podiatry in 2015 at the University of Newcastle, Jay continued to pursue a passion for sport, along with developing his career in paediatrics, biomechanics, nail surgery, and diabetic foot care. Jay has worked as a podiatrist across many different environments including private practice clinics, hospital, and locums across Australia.
Jay is dedicated to his professional development in the field of Podiatry. When it comes to consulting with patients, Jay engages the most up to date evidence-based practice to provide a high level of care, ensuring all patients get the best results possible.
Dean Taylor
Senior podiatrist
Dean is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association, Sports Medicine Australia and regularly attends State and National conferences along with numerous special interest group seminars. Being a graduate of QUT, Dean maintains a strong association with the University.
Short of specialising in one particular professional area, Dean is passionate about Sports and Biomechanical Podiatry in the Paediatric, active and ageing population. Many years of experience in the footwear and orthotic manufacture industry has given Dean the edge when it comes to complex cases, which he actively seeks out on a regular basis.
Dean has represented his state and country in touch football, competed in triathlon/multisport events and is a mid-handicap golfer who loves the challenge of the game.
David Reesby

David is a dedicated Podiatrist with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions. David has an Undergraduate Degree in Sport & Exercise Science before completing his Podiatric studies at QUT.
David is a competitive road runner on the Sunshine Coast and has a special interest in running related injuries and biomechanical assessments. David believes that by providing a personalised treatment to patients’ we can enhance outcomes; improving mobility, preventing injury and improve overall foot health for patients. David is passionate about all aspects of Podiatry and is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient centred care tailored to each individual’s needs.
In addition to clinical expertise, David is dedicated to fostering a supportive, informative environment for patients, empowering them to make informed decisions about their treatment and well being.
Ella Sanjari
Endorsed SNR. Podiatrist
Ella is an experienced podiatrist with a special interest in regenerative medicine for chronic musculoskeletal pain. She is qualified in prolotherapy and neuroprolotherapy injections and has recently embarked on her endorsement for scheduled medicines, which will allow her to prescribe certain S4 medications when complete.
Ella enjoys all aspects of podiatry and is committed to working closely with her patients to create tailored, effective treatment plans.
Known for her precise diagnostic skills and gentle bedside manner, Ella blends hands-on assessment with state-of-the-art imaging to tailor treatment plans that maximise results while minimising downtime. Whether she is performing an ultrasound-guided injection to target stubborn plantar-fascia inflammation or designing a full MSK rehabilitation program, Ella’s approach is always collaborative, goal-oriented, and grounded in the latest research.
Josh Taylor

Josh completed his podiatry training at the Queensland University of Technology, where he graduated with First Class Honours. During his time at QUT, Josh received numerous academic prizes, including awards for excellence in clinical studies, orthotics, sports medicine and rehabilitation, paediatrics, imaging, and biomechanics.
He has recently embarked on further study in endorsement for scheduled medicines, which will allow him to prescribe certain S4 medications and perform injection therapies such as steroid injections when complete.
Josh is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association and affiliate member of the Australasian College of Podiatric Surgeons. He is currently undertaking post-graduate study in Podiatric Therapeutics.
Josh enjoys building rapport with patients and finds great satisfaction from helping people achieve their goals. He has a special interest in helping people of all ages suffering from foot pain and ingrown toenails. When not at work, you’ll find Josh playing tennis, hiking the trails around the Sunshine Coast with his wife, or writing his podiatry-based medical thriller.
Sally Purvis
Senior Podiatrist
Sally is a seasoned podiatrist with over ten years of clinical experience spanning private practice, community health, high-risk foot services and academic roles in Australia. Her expertise is grounded in a rigorous understanding of foot and lower-limb biomechanics, systemic health interactions and evidence-based management.
Sally’s clinical focus is on complex chronic conditions, neurovascular foot health, diabetes-related foot management, paediatric foot assessments and structural deformity. She prioritises early identification of risk factors that can compromise mobility and quality of life — particularly in people with vascular changes, neuropathy or systemic disease.
Her approach goes well beyond symptom relief: Sally looks for root causes and constructs tailored care plans that integrate assessment, education and long-term management strategies. She places particular emphasis on preventative care, empowering patients of all ages to maintain functional independence and minimise future foot pathology.
Gabrielle Riach
Podiatry Assistant
Always down for a friendly chat, Gabby’s bright personality will make you smile.
Sharing a passion for helping people and Allied Health, Gabrielle is currently undertaking a Bachelors’ degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology and is a Personal Trainer. She is now a fully trained Allied Health Assistant in Podiatry. Working on functional movement enhancement and chronic pain management, she is an excellent clinician and an important member of the team.
Growing up in Woombye, she is a proud local through-and-through and a strong supporter of our community; you might already know her friendly face!
Will O'Hara

After studying bachelors degrees in Finance and Mechanical Engineering, Will left a career in engineering to create Elite Foot Care with his brother Jay.
Since then he hasn’t looked back. He loves the community spirit of Woombye and feels a great sense of fulfilment helping people.
His skills in engineering come in handy for operating our on-site custom orthotics manufacturing lab.
Sharing a passion for sport with the rest of the team, Will enjoys playing Australian rules football, golf and tennis on a weekend and spending time with his family.

Ellen Hodges

Ellen is one of our superstar receptionists!
She is originally from a small country town in Central West NSW, called Forbes. She moved to the coast with her partner a few years ago and has fallen in love with it.
Much like her family she has a passion for all things creative. She regularly embroids in her spare time creating textile artistic pieces and enjoys playing guitar and singing.
She loves taking her dog Nix, a Siberian Husky, on adventures and enjoys finding new food spots along the coast!
Sophie Goyne

Sophie is an energetic and passionate individual who thrives on staying active and connecting with others. Originally from a little country town in NSW living along the Murray River, Sophie made the bold decision to move to the Sunshine Coast on her own, embracing the sunny lifestyle and calling it her new home by the beach. She’s the founder and leader of a social run club, bringing together like-minded people who share her love for outdoor activity and community.
Sophie is also passionate about the marketing side if business and has embraced her role as our social media advertising officer.
In her free time, Sophie enjoys spending time with friends, discovering new local spots, and finding ways to bring people together.

Heaven is one of our remarkable receptionists! Originally from Albany, WA, she moved to Woombye with her mother in 2015 and has since embraced the warm coastal lifestyle and vibrant community of the Sunshine Coast.
Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the coast’s thriving café culture, baking delicious treats, and spending quality time with her cat, Cleo.
Social and community-minded, Heaven loves connecting with people, whether through catching up with friends and family or engaging in local initiatives.
Kari Cini
Medical Receptionist
Kari is a dedicated and hard working medical receptionist. Growing up in North Queensland, she moved to the Sunshine Coast to pursue her passion in representative surf life saving rowing. In her spare time you will find her training or relaxing by the pool.
Kari is passionate about health care and the community so is commencing study at the University of Sunshine Coast in an Allied Health Assistant course. This will allow her to further pursue a career in health.
Kylie Gooch

You may have heard a Canadian twang over the phone, that’s our superstar receptionist Kylie! After making the great move to Australia with her family, Kylie has launched herself into the world of health as a medical receptionist at Elite Foot Care.
Taking her passion for health care to the next level, Kylie has commenced a degree in Psychology at the University of Sunshine Coast in 2026!
In her spare time, Kylie loves going for a walk every morning, spending time with her Grandparents, family and friends.
Leah Hockin

Sharing a passion for health with the rest of the team, Leah completed her university studies in biomedical science.
Leah then commenced her Post Graduate study in an accelerated Bachelor of Podiatry degree at Queensland University of Technology.
After attending Elite Foot Care as a patient, Leah started shadowing the Podiatry team for hands on experience, before she officially joined the team in a Medical Reception Role.
Leah will be training hands on as a Podiatrist as she completes her degree in Podiatry and works on the front desk with the team!

Clarice is an Admin Support Officer affectionately nickname Ice. Ice helps keep things running smoothly behind the scenes and enjoy finding new ways to support the team. She’s dedicated, hardworking, and always brings a positive vibe to my work.
Outside of work, Ice is a dog lover, a big foodie, and someone who’s fascinated by the calmness of nature. She has also recently picked up crochet as a creative hobby. Ice is always eager to learn, grow, and explore new ways to contribute, both on the job and in life.
